Account Registration Guide For Accountants
Accountants can register their firm or create an account to get started with Synkli.
Simply follow these steps to begin:
Step 1: Visit Synkli and Access the Sign-Up Option
- Visit the Synkli website (partners.synkli.com.au).

- On the login screen, click the Sign-Up option at the bottom to initiate the account registration process.

- Synkli will display the Account Sign-up form.

Step 2: Enter Personal Information
- Populate the details of the following required fields:

- First Name
- Last Name
- Business Name
- Business Address
- ABN Number
- Phone Number
- Business Email
- Click the ‘Next’ button, having populated all the fields correctly.

- An email from Synkli is sent to the provided address in the personal registration details.

Step 3: Email Link Verification
- Check your email inbox for a verification email sent by Synkli.

- Click Verify Email from the email to acknowledge the registration confirmation, completing the process successfully.

- Synkli displays a verification success message

- Click Return to Your Application to acknowledge the confirmation that the process has been completed successfully

Step 4: Set Password and Agree to Terms
- Create a strong password with at least eight characters.

Password should include:
- Lowercase letter
- Uppercase letter
- Number
- Symbol as a character.
- Select the Terms and Conditions checkbox - agreeing to the Privacy Policy.

- Click the Sign-Up button to complete your account registration.

Step 5: Registration Successfully
- A Registration Successful screen will appear after completing these steps.

- Click the Continue button to proceed.

Mandatory Information to Complete the Onboarding Process
Mandatory Prerequisites
- Login to your account

- Pass two-factor authentication check
![icon-for-li]()
- Provide your personal details
![icon-for-li]()
- Provide your essential business information.
![icon-for-li]()
- Click Skip & Continue to proceed.

Optional
- Add Services and Add Branch Location are optional details which can be added after onboarding.

Review all the necessary details above for the user and business profiles. - Login to your account

- Click Activate to enable your 2FA email and perform a two-factor authentication check.

- Pass the two-factor authentication check.

- Provide your personal details

Note: This screen is only available during the onboarding process. Once these details are submitted, the screen will show the data fields in editable format only with more profile data fields
- Provide your Essential Business Information.

- Click Skip & Continue to proceed.

Note: The Skip & Continue button becomes active once all mandatory requirements are completed.
Update/Edit Registered Firm Details
You can only change your personal or business details except your email address and contact number. Lets guide you through the process:
- Click 'Your Profile' button from the top right corner of your dashboard button.

- Click the Edit icon from Profile, to update the Date of Birth.

- Click the Edit icon from Business, to make changes to your business details.

- Synkli displays the Update Business details form.

- You can make changes to your name, profile image, business bio, and other details.

- Click Update button to save the updates.

Recovering Forgotten Password
In case you forgot your password, follow these steps:
- Click the Forgot Password link from the login screen to initiate the new password setting-up process.

- Synkli displays the Forgotten Password screen.

- Enter your Email address and click the Next button.
![icon-for-li]()

- Synkli generates an OTP and sends it to your email address.
![icon-for-li]()
- You can copy or note down the OTP from the received email.
![icon-for-li]()

- Synkli displays the Email OTP Verification screen as you click Next button from Forgotten Password screen.

- Enter the OTP on the Email OTP Verification screen and click the Verify button

- Synkli displays the reset New Password screen

a. our password should include:
- One lowercase letter
- One uppercase letter
- At least one number

- Synkli resets your password and displays a Congratulations screen.

- Click the OK button to close it.

Changing your Password
To change your password, follow these steps:
- Click the Settings Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Synkli displays the Settings

- Click the Security and Authentication button from the Settings management screen.

- Synkli displays the Security and Authentication screen.

- Click the Change Password button from Security and Authentication screen.

- Synkli displays the Change Password screen.

- Enter your registered Email address to receive an OTP code.
![icon-for-li]()
- Click Continue from the Change Password screen.
![icon-for-li]()

- Synkli sends an OTP verification email to your email address and displays the Email OTP Verification screen

- Enter the OTP code to access the Change Password screen.

- Click the Verify button.

- Synkli displays the Change Password screen.

- Set a new password and click Confirm to reset it.

Password should include:
- One lowercase letter
- One uppercase letter
- At least one number
- One unique character.

Changing the Registered Email ID or Phone Number
Once the account registration setup is complete, you cannot change your email ID and phone number.
Important Note: Each email is linked to a single business profile. However, a phone number can be linked to multiple business profiles.
