Accessing the Onboarding Wizard
After completing your 2FA, you will be automatically redirected to the onboarding wizard.
Initial On-boarding Screen
The first screen of the onboarding wizard will ask you to identify whether you are a:
- New Client
- Existing Client
Note: You can skip the onboarding process by selecting the "Skip On-boarding" option at the bottom of this screen.
On-boarding for New Clients
If you are new to Synkli, follow these steps:
Step 1: Select New Client
Tap the New Client option on the first screen of the onboarding wizard.
Step 2: Continue to Profile Setup
On the next screen, tap the Continue button at the bottom to proceed with setting up your profile.
Step 3: Select Purpose of Visit
You will be prompted to select the purpose of your visit from the following options:
- Salary/Wages Tax Return: For TFN earned/related income tax returns with applicable deductions.
- Sole Trade Tax Return: For ABN earned/related income tax returns with necessary expense claims.
- Company Tax Return: For companies registered for ABN earning income under the company.
- Partnership Tax Return: For registered partnerships to allocate income to individuals related.
- Trust Tax Return: For trusts registered for ABN earning income under the Trust.
- Company Registration: For legally establishing a business entity with government authorities.
- Partnership Registration: For legally establishing a business partnership.
- Trust Registration: For officially recording a trust for legal recognition and compliance.
- Consultation: For legal advice on tax-related queries, including tax planning.
- Entity GST: For registering GST for companies, trusts, partnerships, etc.
- Sole Trade GST: For GST registration for individuals working on ABN.
- Other: For any other service.
Step 4: Fill Out the Form
After selecting an option, you will be redirected to a wizard-based form. Fill in the specific details required on each screen and submit the form.
Sample Forms
On-boarding for Existing Clients
If you are an existing Synkli client, follow these steps:
Step 1: Select Existing Client
Tap the Existing Client option on the first screen of the onboarding wizard.
Step 2: Profile Verification
The system will attempt to find your profile. If your profile is found, you will proceed to the next step. If not, you will see a "Profile Not Found" screen.
Step 3: Review and Update Profile
In either case, you will be redirected to the Review and Update screen. Here, you can view and edit the details of your existing profile as needed.
Step 4: Select Purpose of Visit
After updating your profile, you will be asked to choose the purpose of your visit, as explained in the New Client section.
Completing On-boarding
Once you have completed the onboarding process, you will see a screen with the message "Profile completed successfully." Tap the Ok button to proceed to your dashboard/home screen.
