Connect Synkli to Xero Practice Manager auto sync
Step 2: Open App Connections
- Go to menu bar open Settings → App Connections.

Step 3: Select Xero Practice Manager (XPM)
- In App Connections, click the Xero Practice Manager (XPM) card.

Step 4: Click Connect
- On the XPM card, press Connect to start the linkage.

Step 5: Xero Log-in
- On the Xero Log-in page, enter your email and password then click Log in.

Step 6: Check Trust this device
- Click Trust this device.

Step 7: Two-step Authentication
- Checked Trust this device.
- Complete 2FA (enter the code from your authenticator/SMS).
- Click confirm.

Step 8: Allow Access
- Review the permission screen and click Allow access.

Step 9: Choose Organisation
- Choose the XPM organisation to connect, then click Continue.

Step 10: Synced Notice
- Click Finish after the Synced Notification.

Step 11: Click App Connections
- Open App Connections and click Connected.

Step 12: General XPM Settings
- Review the connection summary and.
- Review status shown for XPM.

Step 13: Click Configurations
- Click the tab XPM to Synkli / Synkli to XPM / Tax Agent to manage sync directions.

Step 14: Click Synkli to XPM
- Click the Synkli to XPM tab to review sync options.

Step 15: Review Module Sync Settings
- Check the Modules, Syncing Method, Last Sync, Status, and Action for each data type (Clients, Client Groups, Jobs, Staff).

Step 16 — Click Synkli to XPM
- In the Configurations section, select the Synkli to XPM tab.
- This tab displays the available sync options, allowing you to review and manage how client and job data from Synkli will be transferred into Xero Practice Manager.

Step 17— Review Module Sync Settings
- Within the Synkli to XPM tab, review the sync details for each module.
- Check the listed items: Modules, Syncing Method, Last Sync, Status, Sync and Action.
- These cover different data types such as Clients, Client Groups, Jobs, and Staff, helping you track how and when each module is being synced.

Turning on the auto sync feature is simple and ensures your data stays up to date across both systems. To enable it:
Go to Settings → App Connections within Synkli.
Connect your Synkli account with Xero Practice Manager (XPM).
Once connected, open the Connected tab.
You’ll see toggle options that allow you to decide what you want to sync automatically. You can choose to:
- Automatically publish all Clients
- Automatically publish all Jobs
Once you switch on the toggles, Synkli will automatically begin syncing the selected items without needing any further manual input. This makes it easier to keep both systems aligned in real time.
