Jobs Management
Synkli Job Manager Module facilitates accountants' daily project management. During job processing, a job may have multiple statuses, and accountants have specific actions for each status.
Possible Statuses of a Synkli Job:
- New
- Recurring
- Favourite
- Delayed
- Closed
Possible Job Actions an Accountant can perform:
- Create a New Job
- View created Existing Jobs
- Edit Update an existing Job
- Duplicate an existing job
- Delete a Job
Job Management Columns View Configuration
Creating a New Job
Creating a new job is easy—just populate the displayed Job details appropriately.
- Click the Job Manager option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Job Manager screen will display. Click the Create Job button at the top right corner.

- The Create Job form will slide in from the right.
- Appropriately populate the Job Info, Recurrence, Schedule and Attachments details.
- Click the Create Job button at the end of the form to apply changes.

Note: The Job Type configuration is a dedicated component managed under Settings > Job Manager > Job Type
Edit an Existing Job
- Click the Job Manager option from the Dashboard Menu bar.
- Users can create role groups with different permission levels (Admin, Read, Write) as appropriate.

- Click the Edit icon from the More Options Menu under the Managers column.

- The Edit Job window displays the Job Information Form in edit mode.
- You can edit the Job Type, Clients, Job Title, Description, Team Members, and more accordingly.
- Click the Update Job button at the end of the form to apply changes.

Assign a Job to Different / Multiple Team Members
Synkli facilitates assigning a job to multiple team members for parallel processing.
Follow the steps below:
- Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Click the Create Job button at the top right corner to open the Create Job form.

- Select one or more manager names from the Schedule Information - Manager drop-down list.

Schedule Recurring Jobs
Recurring jobs can be performed repeatedly at regular intervals. Synkli will clone an existing job with all its information on the scheduled date and time. The accountants are sent an email about successful process completion, and they receive all the updates in their Daily Status Reports.
Recurring Jobs Creation
Creating a recurring job is a four steps process:
- Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Click the Create Job button on the top right corner.

- The Create Job screen displays.
- Click Yes to enable Create Job from the Recurrence section.

- Recurrence parameters will be displayed to enable the recurrence.
- Select an appropriate option from the Repeats dropdown.
- Select Next Date and End Date for the effective repeat timeline.
- Synkli calculates and automatically displays the Next Occurrence Date.

- Synkli lists the newly created job in the All Jobs tab.
Note: In newly created jobs, if the Recurrence is enabled and scheduled, the job is added only to the Recurrence Tab and not to any other tab.
Cancelled, Completed & Closed Jobs
Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Synkli displays the Job Manager screen.
- Job Manager screen displays Job Status tabs below the screen title.

Note: Accountants can explore all the existing job statuses from the All Jobs tab
- Select a tab from the following Status Tabs to explore respective job details:
- New Jobs(3) - lists the newly created jobs
- Recurring Jobs(16) - lists all recurring jobs
- Favourites(8) - lists all jobs marked as favourites by the accountant
- Delayed Jobs(209) - lists all the jobs that missed their deadlines
- Closed Jobs(31) - lists all the jobs marked as close.
Note: The numbers displayed with the tab title represent the number of jobs in their respective tab.
- Accountants can set Job Priority and Status from each tabs list view as they may consider appropriate.
Note: Accountants may select the job Status from the drop-down list of any job listed under any Jobs.

Reopening a Closed Job
- Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Synkli displays the Job Manager screen.
- Click the Closed Jobs tab from the job status tabs bar.
- Synkli displays the Closed Jobs screen.

- Select the To-do option from the Status column dropdown to reopen the job.

Duplicate a Job
Duplication of a job is possible and easy to perform. Follow these steps:

Marking a Job as Favourite
- Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Synkli displays the Job Manager screen.
- Select the Star icon to mark any job as a favourite under the Job Ref No. Column.

Note: All the jobs marked as favourites start appearing in the Favourite tab.
Viewing My Favourite Jobs List
- Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.
- Synkli displays the Job Manager screen.
- Select the Favourite tab from the Job Status Bar at the top.
- Synkli will display all your favourite jobs in a list view.

Customising the Jobs Table-Columns Selection
Synkli facilitates adding or removing columns to suit your requirements.
Follow these steps:
- Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Synkli displays the Job Manager screen.
- Click the Columns button in the top right corner below the Create Job.
- Synkli expands the Columns Show/Hide dropdown with all the column names.

- Select Deselect checkboxes as needed, and click Update to apply changes.
Customising the Job Filters
Synkli facilitates customising the Job Search Filters to suit your requirements.
Follow these steps:
- Click the Job Manager menu option from the Dashboard Menu bar.

- Synkli displays the Job Manager screen.
- Click the Filters button in the top right corner below the Create Job.
- Synkli expands the Filters Show/Hide dropdown with all the column names.

- Select Deselect checkboxes as needed, and click Update to apply changes.
